Here at Target Speech and Language Therapy we believe in transparent pricing for your Wirral speech therapist intervention. We have no staff or premises overheads to subsidise. You won't be charged additional fees for mileage or location surcharges. The price you see is the price you pay.
Initial Assessment
A face-to-face appointment with you and your child lasting 60 minutes, This can take place at home or in your child's education setting.
Assessment may be formal or informal, and will be based upon the age and need of your child.
Includes summary report

Therapy
Sessions last 45 minutes, inclusive of discussion and strategy sharing with an adult.
A suggested number and frequency of sessions will be discussed with you following assessment.
Sessions can take place at home or in your child's education setting, for which there is no additional charge.

Progress Review
Breaks from therapy can be useful to allow generalisation of skills into daily life.
A review assessment can check on progress during this time and help determine if further therapy or discharge are needed.
Includes summary report.

Detailed Report
Provided upon request. Typically used towards multi-disciplinary meetings where attendance is not required, or to provide information about a child's speech and language development when referrals are being made to other services.
Please note that this is not a report suitable for use towards an EHCP (see 'Other Activities')

Other Activities
Including but not limited to:
- Attendance at meetings or multi-disciplinary discussions (face-to-face or virtual)
- Telephone calls/email correspondence with relevant professionals involved in your child's care.
- Preparation of report for child's Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP)

Programme Workpacks
Following an initial assessment, where parents would prefer, bespoke target work packs can be provided for use at home or in school, in place of face-to-face therapy.
Targets are set for an 8 week period and will include relevant resources including therapy aims, therapy rationale, worksheets, games, and resources.
Please note that this is only available for language difficulties and speech sound difficulties only.
